ISO Certification
DMSCO ISO 9001:2008 certification covers all departments and activities in the company which include Al-Dawaa chain of pharmacies, Pharma and Medical division and Consumers division, and is applied to all the company operations in KSA. DMSCO was first certified in May 2006 and renewed its certification in May 2009, with the updated version included in the 2008 standards. DMSCO certification no. is 44 100060759 from TUV NORD, Germany. DMSCO is the 1st company ISO certified in the Middle East in the fields of pharmacies & sales and marketing.
DMSCO is subjected to both internal and external auditing that monitor the effectiveness of its quality management system application as well as ensures its continual improvement. Internal auditing is done periodically by well trained and certified members of the company. External auditing is an annual process done by the TUV/NORD, Germany to ensure the effectiveness of the application of the QMS as well as the commitment of the company to follow the set international standards. An annual management meeting reviews the quality progress over the year and identifies improvement measures to be applied on the company system in the coming year. DMSCO’s continuous efforts in sustaining quality are reflected in the company’s growth and its customer’s satisfaction.
A continuous process monitoring the effectiveness of the company quality management system is applied. A team of professional internal auditors controls processes application and effectiveness. DMSCO top managements review each process audits and modify them according to results and company goals on annual basis.
